Here are some frequently asked questions – FAQs.

How easy is Tubal C to install?

Watch the short video below for step by step instructions.

Q.

Can Tubal C be installed against drywalls or partitioning?

A.

Yes! Tubal C was developed specifically to provide a solution for drywalling and other partitioning scenarios. The floor carries the weight on the system and the wall only provides a stabilising function.

Q.

Is there a standard width between the uprights?

A.

Yes, the standard ‘Bay’ space is 1200mm measured from the inside edge of the first Post to the inside of the next Post. A 600mm size configuration is also available for most Tubal C components.

Q.

Can you do a custom bay size?

A.

No. Tubal C is only available in 1200mm and 600mm configurations.

Q.

Will the system carry the weight of my heavy merchandise? How do I know the plastic linkages can support the weight?

A.

The plastic used in the Tubal C linkages and connectors is a proprietary reinforced Nylon that has been specifically designed for this application and has been stress tested to many 100s of kilograms – far beyond the requirements of retail applications. The linkages themselves are designed and engineered in such a way that they become stronger as they take the load, not weaker.

Q.

I need a custom steel colour for my store's shopfitting. Can this be done?

A.

Please contact your local Tubal C agent to discuss your specific colour needs further.

Q.

How difficult is it to install Tubal C

A.

Tubal C is designed as a DIY system, with each Post requiring only four bolts (two in the wall, two in the floor). Essentially, the system can be installed by anyone who can use a drill. The installation is far more straightforward, faster and less invasive than other options on the market, particularly wallband-type systems
